Aims & Objectives
''DIGI-TRA'', is an action of exchanging young people and youth leaders, coming from 9 different countries enabling them to develop their digital skills through one youth exchange program, in order to provide them with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge and to prepare for the labor market. The need of young people to evolve and learn new tools, to speak loudly and act for a better future is for us the driving force for the implementation of program.
It is well known that the European Commission has strengthened their active participation but also increasing employment opportunities for young people who are unemployed as one of the priorities and the role of European citizens is vital to achieving the goals identified by the Commission. Digital skills are the necessary tool for the transition to the new digital age, the harnessing the potential of digital technologies and ultimately digital transformation for the purpose of upgrading society and the economy as they can contribute to creating more and better paid jobs. Moreover, the strengthening of digital skills that are strategic goal of the new programming period for the EU This youth exchange will be the opportunity for us to spend time together to share views, fears, concerns, ideas for improvement, and proposals to fill the gaps that exist both in our local communities and in our countries but also around the world. We would like to know more about the current situation and its management digital transformation in other European countries, with an emphasis on social cohesion and the reduction of phenomena of marginalization and isolationism. We are seeing a growing interest from citizens but also from various organizations to find ways to develop skills that design digital policies including the development of digital governance and digital governance skills. Young people are a major untapped source of manpower and the economy lacks the skills, new ideas and creativity of the most dynamic part of the population. Another goal of this youth exchange is to develop creative skills and experiences social campaigns. Young people will have the opportunity for personal development at all stages of the campaign: during preparation, implementation, evaluation and reflection. This is an important skill for young people today as we help them overcome internal barriers in that concerns their publicity, speech and overall performance in teamwork governed by planning, reporting and evaluation of results. Other than that, they will all get one together international experience, will get to know other cultures and traditions, will overcome stereotypes and promote common understanding, multicultural dialogue and youth activism at local, regional, national and international level. |
